It was just a regular Friday afternoon when our colleague and software developer Bram created his first hexastix.
He put it up on the coffee bar at the office and people started wondering… What’s that?? Did you create that?? Followed by… OK, hand me some pencils and let me do it myself…
A battle about to start. Inge has set the current Nedap record: 8 minutes to create a hexastix.
And now, it’s up to you…
Try beating us by setting a new record through assembling a hexastix:
- Take 36 pencils
- A hand full of small rubber bands
- Clear your mind
- Let’s go!
Set your record
Prove your victory or admit to your defeat by sharing an image of your hexastix and record, followed by #hexabattle. Our colleague Inge doesn’t like to be beaten…
Check out her video below, these tips and tricks might give you a head start.
Not yet impressed?
From smart parking sensors, securing the flow in cities like Moskow and Madrid, to access control of the Eiffel Tower, the sky is the limit at Nedap. Are you not impressed of creating a hexastix? Try rebuilding ‘our’ Eiffel Tower with pencils and elastics only. Or better, go visit our events like the Developers Day, upcoming in February 2018.
